How flexible are the LC backing plates?

I ordered some 5.5" LC CCS pads and in need for a backing plate. Locally, I can get a plate but I'm not sure if it's flexible enough. The only part that flexes is the area by the velcro. Other than that, the rest of the plate is stiff. So I'm wondering how flexible are the LC backing plates? Thanks in advance.

If you look at the pic's of that BP you will see it is all plastic not very flexible.Take a look at the Megs w66 plate you will see the difference.But it is to big for that size pad.I bought what is know as the UK 3m backing plate which is made for 5.5 pads .You will have to google it since it isn't sold by any local companys.You can buy it but have too do some digging.Hope that helps some
