How hot does your PC 7424 get?

Thanks. I plan on completely re-doing my car this weekend, if the weather cooperates. It took me 6 hours with the Ryobi DA and these same pads/products. Let's see if I can cut it down to 4, this time!

No need for spacers, backing plates, etc when you have a mighty fine lifetime warranty, Edge adapter. ;)
 
Sounds like reason enough to scrap my inventory of LC pads and place a big ole Edge order! LOL
 
I'll pass. LOL They're definitely on my list when these LC pads are done.
 
If you guys decide to sell your LC pads..let me know....just want green...white and blue..no heavy cut pads...no need for them...

Good idea, Al! I need to start a thread offering to pay shipping for anyone that has splurged on Edge and CCS pads and have LC's sitting around. I'll take them off your hands!

Not on my p.c. but have edge pads on my rotarys.......
 
Im gonna have to look for this spacer, i dont remember ever seeing it when i got the PC. I keep EVERYTHING when it comes to my tools, so if it came with it then i have it.
 
It's pretty small and easy to miss. Does your backing pad clear the counter weight without it? Are you able to spin it by hand and have it spin freely for a few seconds?
 
I had a black washer and a grey one...I think one came with the Porter Cable backing plate also...but if you can not find one..goto the hardware store and get a nylon washer ..they are like a nickel each...

It didnt come with a BP, it just came with that white pad and the flat wrench.
