How in the world do you guys do paint correction on a roof. I did my car last weekend standing on a ladder, hanging on with one hand for balance, and putting as much pressure on the PC as I could without fear of denting the roof but trying to use enough to remove defects. What a pain! Is there an easier way short of a sky hook! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a challenge, especially when the roof has design creases of some sort.

Just gotta do it a small section at a time and hope for the best :)

Unless you're 6" 6" roofs can be a paint. A mall step ladder and a small aluminum platform I purchased at Lowe's and for the most part allows me to reach most areas...:props:

By the way, I'm 6' 1".....

I don't know what you people are complaining about!?! I guess what BobbyG said must be true because I am 6'6" and love doing hoods, roofs and deck lids... I HATE ROCKERS!

So what we're saying is 6'6" Dr. Pain and 5'5" myself should team up? He can do the roofs of SUVs, and I can do the rocker panels of Lambos...

:whs:

Those adjustable planks are really usefull, more cost effective approach would be to get a 2x12 or see if a lumber yard has a scrap 6' LVL. It would be heavier, but cheaper.
