What is everyone opinion on this kit? I have some amazon gift cards to use up. I will buying any other products i need from the autogeek store. Is this good to start out with?

Myself, I have not heard of this polisher or kit. I'm sure other guys will chime in though.

That's 2 votes "NO" by two knowledgeable members here on AGO

You can find many comparable PC kits here on AG for around the same price (as dlc95 already pointed out).

pick up the GG6 with your gift card(s) - copy/paste > " Griot's Garage 10813STDCRD 6" Random Orbital Polisher with 10' Cord " in the search on amazon and you'll find it (maybe pick up a few other things separately depending on how much you have left). they have some kits but they all come with 6.5" pads (5.5" pads would be more ideal) among a few other things you may not use so that will be money wasted. everything else you can pick and choose exactly what you want on the AG store...
 
Go with the GG6 as suggested by Visitor. More power, less vibration, and a lifetime warranty. Several good kits right here to choose from
