How long does it take you to wash your rig?

Never pictured you as a lifted truck kind of guy, always pictured you as a cool guy in a convertible hotrod like the one in your sig:D sweet truck BTW.

LOL well if you look again, he IS driving a convertible. After reading the description of what's under the hood and in the drivetrain, I'd say he's got the hotrod part too :xyxthumbs:

About 2-2.5 hrs to do an 01 Pathfinder. That's using a low pressure hose and washing, then rinsing each panel. After that, I sit on a mechanics rolling seat and clean all wheels by hand, along with the barrels using regular car wash, ONR, a brush, and one of those red cone looking brushes AG sells that look like Christmas trees on a stick. I dry using a leaf blower, then towels and some ONR mixture to keep off the water spots. I recently started mixing ONR with my regular car wash and noticed an odd reaction. The regular car wash no longer bubbles much and behaves just like ONR by itself. Little or no suds at all when mixing ONR with regular car wash. In fact, it acts almost like just ONR by itself, with no wash minus the color. It's a drastic difference in the wash media. Anyone else notice this? I'm always using ONR for a 2 bucket wash, as I think the surface is left much slicker and glossier than any cat wash.

Took me about 6 hrs today. But, that was wash and rinse each panel snd window, wheels and tires, 1 coat of pinnacle souveran past wax, and cleaned outside windows, and blackfire to the tires. Great weather today.

I would reduce the rinses. Do you take your mitt off your hand while rinsing?

I will wash sections like most upper surfaces, most of each side, etc. without rinsing. I do not think you do not need to worry about soap drying on paint any more than water residue on paint from the rinses. A good rinse at the end should be sufficient and then sheet the water off to speed up drying.

Drying can eat up time depending on technique as well. It may help to get a blower (like a smaller Metro blower if you do not get a Master Blaster) to get water out of crevices. Water dripping out of seams, trims, etc. really take time to tidy up adding to drying time.

I just did a DP rinse less wash and gloss on my Challenger. Cleaned the wheels ,

wheel wells and door jambs in an hour. Two bucket method and then used brushes

at the end for the wheels and wells.

About an hour - ford f150. onr two bucket wheels tires glass in and out then back around with onr quick detailer. Seems like two to three hours to wash a car is a long time especially for guys that keep their cars in tip top shape. If you have not tried onr now is the time.. rinsing what's that??

It took me 1 1/2 hours to do a ONR wash on my BMW 328i sedan. It was my first time using ONR. It's astounding members on here doing an ONR in 20-30 mins.
I still prefer the to wash with the hose and car wash solution. I think I do that faster than doing ONR washes.
