How long does it take

How do you disinfect? And I want to start charging more for trashed vehicles but I just dont know the wording to use.

I tell potential clients on the initial meeting/phone conversation that actual price depends on size AND condition of their vehicle. Then I give an example of how I've found dirty diapers, excessive pet hair, vomit, etc. to condition them that this means it'll cost them more $$$$. I also say, "it starts at...." when quoting a price. That way if you get to their house and it's trashed you upcharge them accordingly.

My time is money. The days of under-charging are loooooong gone.

The funny people who call me and inform me that 'joey detailer' only charges x amount of dollars are the best. I typically have no response. I just don't say anything. The silence is hilarious. They know that I know they're waiting for the price-match. Not gonna happen.

To answer your initial post, it depends of course. Typical sedan, not too dirty, a "Full" detail is usually 3-4 hours. This does not include any paint correction. You'll get a lot faster obviously the more you do.
