How long for a full interior detail?

I'm just glad I'm not the only one in which it takes that much time.

Maybe you can do a 50/50. One side is your typical technique and the other is a faster, less detailed one. Compare the results and ask yourself if the improvement is worth all the extra work.

lol if I was in there more then 2 hrs I would get a gun and put it to my head lol I hate doing the inside of cars and try my haqrdest to tell them they can save a lot if they do the inside . lol I had a van that was real bad and I used a power washer and told them they need to leave it so it can dry lol 2 days later they got it back.but it was clean

For a sedan it should not take more than 2hrs including the extractor
Suv should be 3hrs or so
When I sell my service I tell customers it includes full clean and condition and carpets an mats are treated, agitated, rinsed and then extracted. If there car requires repeated passes they will be billed at $50 per hour for repeated passes.

I do detailing as a hobby, charge only $30.00 or so for products used and then request the owner to consider a donation to one of two non-profits. I will usually spend 5 or more hours on the interior. The owner lives inside the car, so that is one area they notice the most difference. I also just take my time too. When I detail a car, I have it for two or more days so time is not a pressure issue for me. I have the fun of enjoying my hobby, get to work on some awsome cars, and my "customers" get their cars back with darn near show room clean interiors. Not sure, but I think most of them make generous donations to the non-profits.
