How long to wait before applying wax on top of sealant?

Ahh, well that's a totally different matter.

If you've got a garage qeen that is only used for special occasions, did you think about using a nice carnauba beauty wax rather than using the Klasse and 845? Based on the usage you describe, durability isn't really an issue and the carnaauba wax will make it look amazing. Far better than layering a couple reputable sealants known for their durability.
 
Should I also buff sealant/wax off after 12 hours? Would that help the gloss and longevity?

Or should I buff it off after an hour, and then wait 12 hours before applying another coat?
 
One thing you have to keep in mind is that I am an amateur detailer. There are just so many mistakes I can make. For me, doing it right, no matter how overly cautious, is top priority.

I don't know what it is about Klasse, but it doesn't last long for me. I just want to apply it correctly so it would have the supposed longevity.

It is not a garage queen. It is just my lifestyle.

I would like to try Dodo wax next time though. I heard it makes white paint look wet and deep.

Polishing your car will do more for making the paint “pop” than worrying about how many coats of sealant and wax to layer and how long to wait.

If you are not doing this your car will never look as good as it could. Watch some YouTube videos, research this forum, and get yourself a dual action polisher. A Griots Garage 6 is a great way to start. You don’t need practice fenders from a junkyard to learn how to use this machine. It’s nearly impossible to screw up your paint with one of these.

IMHO, if the goal is to make your convertible look it’s best, than focus on the steps needed to properly prepare your paint for your chosen LSP. If you do this, it won’t matter if you select Klasse, Collinite, or Dodo Juice any of them will look great.
