How long to work HD Speed?

Honcho I do not recommend to use hydro-techs the h20 technology does not like ALL IN ONE POLISHES.

the hydrotech pads don't work the polish wet , it gums up the pad and does not polish correctly.

Use lake country flat pads, or buff and shine.

Even the meguiars foam discs don't work to well with HD speed .

The flat pads work the product really wet and leave a nice buffer trail behknd.

The hydrotech pads gum up and apply the product un even

I have a lot of experience with HD speed as I use it almost everyday.

And working with the hydrotech is a little depressing and not enjoyable like HD speed should be.

When you try it you'll see what I'm talking abot

Is that a 15 or 21 in the video?

Looks like a 21 with a 5" backing plate.

I wish Rupes would put the 21 and 15 logo on the side of the polisher, makes it easier to see which model people are using.

Did this black Tundra today. Boss G21, 5.5in LC orange CCS pads. Instead of Poxy I topped with Menzerna Color Lock.

Worked Speed about 5-6 passes on setting 5.

I agree with you on this. I did not have good luck with Speed and Hydro techs or Megs flat pads. I got serious dusting with both. Yes I cleaned my pad frequently and used next to no product. Switched to a Buff and Shine green pad and got fantastic results.

Yup, Rupes 21 with a 5 inch plate/pad. The pad I used is a mid range 1 step cutting/polishing pad. With a dedicated cutting pad it would only take less time to cut through these sand scratches.

Anyone know how HD Speed will work on LC Hybrid and Rupes pads? I have a bunch of those pads and it would be nice to not have to buy other pads to work well with HD Speed.

I,m tried HD SPEED in Rupes 21 and Yellow Rupes pad last week and im very very happy. For me, HD SPEED is the best AIO and final polish if i dont use a coating. My first choice
