How many coats of glaze is too much at one time?

Hi I use 3m Hand Glaze and was wondering how many times per time can I apply?
Does more than 2 times going over car at one time make the shine decrease?

I have used 3m hand glaze and it is really good for one time pass. Unless you think you have missed some spots, 2 times is max... this glaze does not offer any protection at all. So you should be putting a wax over it to keep that shine you have created. hope that helps

Yeah I find it good.

Anything over x2 times is a waste?

I always top it with a wax or sealant.

Have you tried 3m 09377 Finishing Glaze?

•I only apply 3M IHG by hand.

•As such:
-By following its application, and
removal recommendations; and
working “clean”...
-I’ve never been able to inflict any
dullness (scratches) to any vehicles’
paint-systems—no matter the fre-
quency of applications.


•I’ll suggest to follow-up with
3M Show Car Wax; or, one of
Finish Kare’s Sealants (1000P;
2180).

When you say clean, do you mean not rubbing it in until a slight haze?

How much do you use say per panel?

I think by clean he means having a clean microfiber towel and a clean paint to work on
