How many interiors can I dress with a 16oz bottle of protectant (303/dp/megs)

Trying to come up with how much it'd cost for each car. How many interiors in average do you do with a 16oz bottle of a vinyl/plastic protectant (like the 303 or megs natural shine) ?

You should look at buying interior dressing in a minimum of a Gallon. Much more cost effective. Some are water based which will allow some form of dilution.

Sure. I agree. i Just would like to know how many interiors a 16oz can do. I will do the math later :)
 
What are you constituting as an interior? Dash? Steering wheel? B pillars? Center console? Back doors? Overhead storage compartments? Cup holders?

Basically everything or just certain areas are you trying to address?
 
Good point SYMAWD. As I will be offering production detailing, i plan to use a protectant mainly on dash, steering wheel and center console... In this case how many interiors can I expect a 16oz bottle to do?

And what if I use it for all areas you mentioned?

I am just trying to come up with a range of how much this product will cost me for each car.

Just the dash, center console, and steering wheel, I will use maybe 5 total sprays maximum of CG's Silk Shine. So the real question is how much liquid is in the average spray? Either way, you are looking at pennies per car.
 
Unfortunately that's not true here in Brazil where products are very expensive :( thanks for the help though ;)

Well, lets say one spray is 1 mL of product and there are about 30 mL in 1 oz. So that's 480 sprays in a 16 oz bottle. If I use 5 sprays per car, that is 96 cars.

However, I suggest putting 1 oz of water in a bottle and seeing how many sprays you can actually get and then adjust my math accordingly. Even 15 sprays per oz seems pretty economical.
 
In another thread Audios6 indicates:

"When I did some measuring I found the double mist put out 0.6 ml for each direction vs a tolco sprayer that puts out 1.2 ml per pull. This was with both sprayers set to a stream pattern to capture all the flow in a measuring cup. "
