How many layers of WGDGPS

I am on a week vacation from work and will be doing a detail tomorrow. Once I do the micro marring repair and I put on the sealant I will allow it to cure for 12 hours. I have only used one coat in the past and was wondering about additional layers. What are the benefits, if any, of additional layers of WGDGPS? Is 2 better than 1? Is 3 better than 2? How many should I do? Thanks

2 is better than 1 by ensuring better coverage. After the 2nd coat, diminishing returns will set in.

Get the paint as perfect as possible before LSP.

You don't need to wait 12 hours for the second coat. 4 hours will do.
 
I've used WGDGPS in a couple of my maintenance client's vehicles.
One layer can last a while; it all depends on the owner of this vehicle, or in his detail guy.:buffing:
