How many LSP's do you & what are they?

I would love to try either fusion, midnight sun, or souverain I just havent gotten around to justifying the price quite yet.

If you want something that will get the exact same results of Souveran at a far better price, check out Lusso Oro. I sold my Souveran because this stuff was better which I was surprised at.

Blackfire Wet Diamond - my favorite synthetic sealant. Leaves a reflective, wet, and super-slick finish. Good durability--it got me through the winter. Easy to use. *****
Ultima Paint Guard Plus - I love this sealant. So very easy to apply. No buffing. This is the protectant that I use on our SUV. Good durability. I use it to seal paint, trim, cladding. *****
Mother's Reflections - as the name suggests, excellent reflectivity and clarity but not candy-coated. Easy to apply and remove. Great value. ****
NXT - nice reflective look but can be a bit finicky. I prefer Reflections over NXT, especially on darker colors. ***
Finish Kare 1000p - not tried yet.

Vintage - absolutely gorgeous, incredible depth. I have maybe one more application from the sample that was given to me. I'm going to save it for a special occasion. But I don't like the sweating one has to endure for a few days afterwards. The special shine holds up for a good while, too. *****
Souveran - probably my favorite wax for my black Honda (excluding Vintage). It really does leave a warm glow that draws you in. A joy to use. But don't expect it to last longer than 3-4 weeks. *****
Fuzion - outstanding. Wonderful wet look. Easy to apply and remove. Better durability than Souveran. *****
Harly Wax - under-appreciated wax. Leaves a balanced, warm look. Good value. ***
Swissvax Best of Show - for the money I expected something a bit more, but it still leaves a lovely wet look. Love the smell. ****
P21S 100% - lovely but it didn't knock off my socks. I probably need to try it one more time. ***
Collinite 845 - excellent durability, great value, nice look. ****
Collinite 476s - presently using it as my wheel wax.
50/50 - not tried yet.
Lusso Oro - not tried yet.
M16 - not tried yet.
Midnight Sun - not tried yet.
Supernatural (sample) - not tried yet.

Ultimate Quik Wax - so easy to use (WOWO), great reflectivity and gloss. I use it on paint and trim. ****

M20 Polymer Sealant - my favorite cleaner wax. Leaves a slick finish. Easy to use. An under-appreciated product in the Meguiar's line-up.
ColorX - versatile product, good value, easy to use. Best OTC cleaner wax?
Cleaner Wax - I use this on my door jambs.

I have too many waxes! And I still want to add one more--Victoria Concours Red! What can I say? It's a sickness.

I have to confess that I really do not see major differences between the shine produced by most of the above protectants. Maybe nuances. Maybe. I'm probably just seeing what I want to see, on any given day.

You can never have too many waxes. Think of it like collecting stamps.;)

I would rather invest all my time in prep work and spend all my money on polishes and prep work products than worry about my LSP. I have even used Turtle Wax Hard Shell Wax as my LSP and it looked great because of my prep work.

Seems too many folks are worried about what wax they are using and spending too much money on them

Just added, raceglaze 55, collinite 845, blackfire wet ice, autoglym hd

I'm sure all of us here spend loads of time prepping our vehicles too. The LSP is our reward for all the effort we put into the vehicles. I personally like having different LSP's for the different nuances each presents. Do I spend too much on LSP's? Definitely. But I also spend too much on my other hobbies too and I really have no intention of stopping. We all have to do our best to help prop up the faltering economy!:buffing:

Well then you're doing a bang up job of that! Keep up the good work! (Same excuse I used when I finally bought that Sky)

I was going to say you certainly can't be using all those but instead I will say: It's your money! If you're collecting them or doing finger painting with them it's nobody's business but yours. :props:

I saw your Sky at DF 5. Very nice. Red is my fave auto color. Which unimportant LSP did you use?

Thank you! I use UPGP, speaking of which I don't see in your treasure box... I highly suggest you check it out. :)

I haven't gotten into spray waxes yet, but I have heard good things about UPGP (UltimaPaint Guard Plus, right?). I'm still trying to figure out the Zaino spray. Can't seem to get it to dry without leaving residue.

This is actually a high quality high concentrate wipe on and walk away sealant. It will probably outlast anything else you've got if used properly. Don't know since I haven't used the others. But this stuff has real durability.

Ultima Paint Guard Plus 4oz., paint sealant, liquid wax, car wax, paint sealer

I just might UPGP to my cart next time. If anything, it'll add to my collection. I've never been all that concerned with durability, since I wax my cars once a month. If the application and removal is easy enough (flame suit on: e.g. FMJ) I'll actually apply another coat after waxing instead of going the QD route. See, that's why I NEED all those LSP's!

Souveran - favorite LSP...warm wet glow. Doesn't last long, but hey, that's why we're geeks right? The fun is in the detailing and waxing. So I don't mind doing it often.
4StarUPP - favorite sealant on black (but all my cars are black LOL).
WGDGPS - my "go to" sealant... like a dependable running back that will always get you 3-4 yards. Lasts longer than 4Star I think.
DP MaxWax - good all around nuba...not as deep as Souveran but lasts longer IMO.
Klasse twins - good cleaner, but I find the AIO doesn't last as long as it claims to. The HGSG is a pain to use, not real deep, but very durable.
OCW - still getting used to this... just started using it the other day. They say there's no need to buff off, but if I don't rub it in good, it streaks. Not sure about durability yet.

I want to try Menz Power Lock, Dodo Supernatural (so much $$$!!!), Fuzion, and DP Policoat.

Great comments on durability. We Geeks who are amatuers could care less about durability and pros need folks to come back. Get the Fuzion on BOGO. I went in with 3 friends last time it went BOGO and got free AGO code shipping!

Do it! You will find it is a great product. Resist all urges to wipe off streaking and let cure overnight. A second coat after curing looks awesome. it yields a hard candy finish IMO.

Paste Wax:
Wolfgang Fuzion
Pinnacle Souveran Paste
DP Max Wax
Megs #16
Dodo Juice Orange Crush

Liquid Wax:
Pinnacle Liquid Souveran
Pinnacle XMT Carnauba Finishing Glaze

Sealants:
Wolfgang
DP
Mez
Four Star

AIO:
Pinnacle XMT 360
Klasse

The sad part is I love them all :)

Sooo tempting. AG has it on sale too. And you know I don't think I have enough LSP's!

Its easier than you think but, it needs to go on first. UPGP is solvent based and in most cases will remove wax.
