how many of you detailing without insurance?

No mention of concerns of customer/passerby tripping over power cords/hoses or slipping/falling from tire shine on pavement while mobile?

Or what if you applied some Opti-Glass to the windshield, and the customer crashes their car because they claimed they saw a haze that blinded them?

no insurance.. no offense to anyone, but really shouldn't be causing damage with detailing unless you totally don't have any idea what you are doing... but, I am LLC'd so as far as protection goes I'm "covered"

It really doesn't take much to damage a vehicle while working on it.

An LLC is not insurance. It just means that you lose the assets of your business instead of your personal assets in the case of a lawsuit....

Instead of just calling your insurance company and filing a claim?!?

That is insanity. Risk losing your entire business because you Dont want to pay $1000 a year +- for insurance.
