As much as I can now since my purchase of the g21
Only places i.hand wax/polish are corners of hood/trunk,fenders and tail panel
Once i a get a Rupes Mini and or nano, ill never hand wax again!

I always use a DA polisher for waxing. Griot's set on speed 2, black wax foam pad, and souveran is my favorite choice.

Depends on job and price point.
My answer is yes AND no!
I do ALOT of boats, RVs motorcycles, and yachts with a few vehicles thrown in.
I offer package deals. With that said I wouldn't be productive with a buffer out on EVERY job.
If I do break them out it is due to oxidation most of the time. (They pay for that buffer to come out also).
Not sure if that was answer you were looking for.

Only time I used machine to wax was for heavy duty work trucks like Ford F-350

Only because it's huge and mostly flat areas.

Anything else, done with ma hand :)

I typically do, as I feel I use less product and get better coverage. For motorcycles and such, I do those by hand.

The big exception is Wolfgang's sealant. I feel Wolfgang is much more forgiving by hand. CG's Jet Seal is much more DA friendly.

Good morning men, does anyone have experience with Glossit. They have their own line and a DA polisher that looks similar to Griots and CG

I use a machine about half of the time. It depends on the type of wax, and if I'm feeling lazy. Sometimes I'm a quarter of the way into laying down a coat of wax by hand before I realize I could/should be doing it by machine.

Just got a flex 3401 and used it for headlight restoration on my wife's 2004 ACURA TL to get used to the machine. No more hand techniques for me... Way more fun with the machine! New to the forum so hello everyone!

A lot depends on the vehicle. If you have large flat surfaces it's much faster by machine. If you are fighting lots of curved surfaces, machines will frustrate you.

I have by machine but I still prefer to do it by hand. Doing it by hand allows me to feel the contours of the body and work the wax in those areas. I work the wax in so I usually don't worry so much about high spots.

I started using a Cyclo around 1988. I could never do a car by hand. I do wax my Harley by hand though. Just because the size of the bike is manageable.

I've bever used a machine to apply wax. I thought about it a few times but just like that tactile feel of my hands on the applicator pad.

Were as with KAIO I always apply by mechine...

Depends on the wax, if it's possible to apply with a machine then i probably will. The only wax i apply with machine is a Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. Which is okay i guess? But not great, i'd rather choose Auto Finesse Temptation actually but some customers prefer a really cheap wax beceause they don't notice the difference anyway so...
