How many polishing pads per car?

I can answer that since I use both.

Fuzion is rich and deep but when it loses its short lived pop, it looks like a sealant. That’s why I add more every 4 months

Souveran is the ultimate in depth and it’s stupid easy to use but it seems like one can breathe on it and it’s gone. I only put it on my total garage queens but I don’t mind it because it’s such a pleasure

So, if it requires a re-apply application a lot, do you go through the whole clay bar process again? Seems like a lot of work.

I only clay if the car doesn’t pass the baggy test which is practically never in my situation. People don’t like to wax because they consider it “ a lot of work” but I consider it “ therapy”. I don’t mind it every few months. Remember to apply super thin.

If your cars are well maintained and do a lot of sitting in the garage like mine, then you may never need to clay the car again.

Yeah the old school hotness was WGDGPS topped with souveran.

If you have the WGDGPS just use that. From what I’ve read makes Reds/metallics pop

Those look really good!

I'm just going to stick with my game plan for now and use Wolfgang DGPS on my GT 350 and probably the cobra.

Are you guys leaving it on for 30-45 minutes before buffing it off? I didn't do that on the hood that I completely from start to finish about a week ago. So I'm thinking about putting in a second coat.

I apply it to the whole car in one hit, by the time I have done that and cleaned up a few things around the garage, it's time to remove the residue. So yes, 30 to 45 minutes for it to cure, and then a following 12 hours before it can get wet.

Perfect!

Thanks

I appreciate all the help everyone! I finished it tonight, ended up using Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant.

A job well done! :dblthumb2:

Happy with the way it turned out?
Yes. I feel like I could have spent even more time on it. Couple scratches I didn't totally remove, but you can't see them unless you actually have a light on that spot.

It's 100x better than what it was. The paint is now super slick, before it felt like sandpaper.
