I'm not quite sure, but I would love to see how much it all would be added up. I keep saying in my mind that I'll make it all back after a few details, but then I just keep buying stuff and detailing cars for free!
I have about $1100 tied up since I started going with boutique products about a year ago. But, I've made about $600 of that back with detailing for co-workers/friends/family. So I'm not too bad in the hole (until new products come out, then of course I have to try them out), and the Mrs. is cool with it as I make sure her car stays nice and shiny lol...
Honestly, I try not to think about the money, I do it more for the challenge and personal enjoyment. Not a lot of hobbies are cheap. They can be, but once you get "into" it and step up to higher quality stuff, it gets expensive. But you don't mind because you like doing it. Golf, mountain biking, etc. can get quite expensive, and you have no chance in recouping your money like you can detailing a buddies car. (Uh-oh, I think I just rationalized myself into another order soon )
I've spent way too much.... But you guys should be proud, I haven't made an order in about 6 months! I have actually smartened up and only order the products that I know that work and ones that I'll actually use...
I can't put a number on how much I spent but it is over $1,000...
Edit- Now that I think about it, it has only been 2-3 months. But I definitely haven't been ordering a lot over the past year, compared to previous ones .
