I'm wondering if I am using too much product as I remove swirls.
I'm using Wolfgang 3.0 TSR and FG.
I have a 2003 Explorer that I am doing a paint cleanup on, and over this weekend I did just the hood. I used at least 3-4 oz of both the TSR and FG.
I'm using an X pattern applied to the pads and working a 2' by 2' section at a time (per the helpful videos). This was 6 sections on the ~20 square foot hood (with a couple sections being smaller than 2' x 2' ) At this rate I'll need around 32 oz of these products to finish this, or around $200 worth of product. It's certainly a large vehicle, but given they sell these things in 8 oz bottles, that implies perhaps I am using too much.
