How much UV protection is enough for dashboard?

I used to think sunshades were a bit much. I thought it would be a hassle and I would get rid of it in a month.

I got the covercraft here on AG and have used it steady since.

I originally thought it was to protect the dash. Nope. I was shocked how much of a difference it makes on the interior temp.

The one I got is quality made and fits great.

It is all about keeping the interior cooler. The added benefit is protection of the interior from UV damage.
