How much would you charge

I have a friend who is restoring a 70 chevel ss. He asked me how much would I charge him to polish all the chrome trim. I have already did a test spot and he was very happy with the outcome. Now I am trying to find a fair price for what I think would involve mostly elbow grease. So I ask you auto geekers what would you charge. Thank for your advise in advance.

For me it's always hard to charge a (friend) to do something I always shoot low. If I was you and I could tackle all the chrome at once with only using one product and have a good outcome I would just charge him a flat rate. Unless it takes you more than a set time I would charge him accordingly. Sorry to make this so long haha.

Might I ask how much is all the chrome you need to polish? How much product do you think you will use? IMO I would charge probably some where in the area of 40-55, or just have him pay you in beer. Haha :cool:

Might be a good opportunity to justify buying a bench grinder and some buffing wheels

They are not that expensive

Would save you a ton of time bs by hand
 
I would charge by the hour
