How NOT to detail a car especially a bentley

Why Choose Pro-Clean of Tysons Corner ?

There are many good reasons to choose Pro-Clean of Tysons Corner to handle your cleaning and detailing needs. We could throw out words like experienced, quality of work, or excellent prices, but we would like to dig a little deeper. To begin, I suspect that you’re the kind of person that takes pride in your car, truck, SUV, bus, motorcycle or boat. We at Pro-Clean of Tysons Corner, will treat your vehicle as if it were our own. Call us old fashion, but we believe that the best way to wash a car, is by hand. While other shops in Tysons Corner have tried to increase their volume by using fancy equipment, we have stuck to our old school ways, for more then 30 years. Another good reason to use Pro-Clean is simply because most of the dealerships in the Tysons Corner area use us, at one point or another. Case and point, they would never trust anyone with their detailing, unless they were 100% confident that we would do a top notch professional job. This leads me to our last, but most important point….we are hands down the best detailing shop in town, end of story. So why take a chance on the rest, when you can choose the best.

LMAO !!!

Did you see his bucket ? He could not get any dirtier...:goodjob2:

Webb, you crack me up man... you're my favorite member on this site haha! :)

Have you guys seen the other videos? There is another video down the line when this video ends and he shows how you to "polish" a car. I can't believe these people call themselves "professionals"

This guy is the Special Olympics of detailing! I think I would rather take my Bentley through a Swirl-o-Matic than have this tard touch it

OH NO, I've been doing it wrong!! Apparently I need to throw out all my microfiber "rags" and go buy some new ones. Apparently they only last 4-5 washes and then they "lose their static" and "don't work like they're supposed to" anymore.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I think im going to create and account just so i can leave a comment.

TIL To be a successful detailer all you need is:
1: The dirtiest 5 gallon bucket you can find.
2. A hose.
3. A wash mitt.
4. The cheapest possible APC available.
5. An old, dirty rag.

I couldnt take it anymore. I had to leave a comment. I left a nice comment for the video

"Carnauba is an oil that is absorbed into the paint and nourishes it".

Says all waxes are the same, yet he claims to use the finest wax that money can buy for his client's cars.. Hmmm...
Says all carpet cleaners are the same.
Uses an APC to clean the paint on the doorjambs..
Apparently uses a carpet cleaner BEFORE he vacuums,
But DID say one thing that was actually TRUE. To wax in the shade, and that wax dries much faster in the sun. I was shocked. :)

WoW this is a catastrophe,:bash: This is what I will be doing, find his number for his business and ask for him then I will pretend I followed his tutorial and I had a pool inside my car and ask him how to get it out.
Then later on going to call again from different number and ask if this is how he showers as well the dirty pig he is. Im a complete newbie and even before I got into the hobby I knew better than this. Please anyone on this with me? Post your responses. Hahaha
I wonder if hes seen his comments as well and am curious as to weather he is a stubborn monkey and still uses the same techniques after this video.

some of the earlier comments are hilarious. There is only 1 good one for about 20 bad ones and you know it's the owner that wrote it.

This guy is crazy!

this insults the SO competitors. Even the handicapped would look at this video in disbelief.....

Check our their reviews on online sites such as yelp:
Pro-Clean of Tysons Corner - McLean, VA

Pulling a quote out of one the reviews:
Update -- as I mentioned below, I went in for my second cleaning on Dec 28 2011. As the first time, they did a really good job of cleaning the car. It had had mold in it and they again got it cleaner than I expected.

Unfortunately my car stereo broke while it was at Pro-Clean (or immediately when I turned it on after picking up the car). I was busy and didn't want to deal with it, so I put off calling to complain until three weeks later -- my mistake.
Gee, wonder how that happened!?!?

And a Google review:
Detailing? Maybe. Quality of work: Exterior wash -- about the same as a high school fundraiser at the gas station (missed areas on wheels); Exterior wax -- nothing impressive; Interior clean -- probably better than the high school fundraiser. However, they managed to drop 3 of the 4 captive nuts in my rear window deflector down inside the 2 mount towers. They they tried to cover it up by wrapping the screws with Teflon tape and jamming them in the holes (which any moron could figure out wouldn't work). Didn't say a thing to me. Driving around a the deflector was rattling and could have flown off at highway speeds -- luckily I removed it before that could happen. They also managed to crack one of the mounts. Owner suggested I disconnect my XM radio head before the wash, since his guys were likely to damage it. (!?!?) So I did...Not that it mattered, since they managed to do something to my through-glass antenna that rendered it inoperable. Just to take it back to him will cost me a 1/2 day of work ($$$) and then there is no guarantee that his people have the talent to fix anything. This place is a disaster.
Sounds about right for what we saw.

i usually don't comment on these threads but this guy really sucks. someone needs to post a link to this thread somewhere in his reviews. Broken radios and antennas...nice!

I know he's not a member.

But do you think he ever "lurks" on here?

Somehow I don't think so.

DOUBT IT!!! in this guy's head he is the detail master, no need for silly forums.

I spent 2days fixing his expertise detailing of another bently.
Most of the time polishing the chemical stains on the wood.
I would like to smack him dead square in the face.

Even if he delete the videos now,I uploaded them on my YouTube account.:props:Im the MAN
