How often do you use Aqua Wax?

Just a quick question in regards to AW and how people are using it.

Personally, I love the stuff, and use as often as I can, but my question is can excessive use of this product build up any 'bad' layers on your LSP?

I have a black car, and have DG 601 + 105, WG DGS topped with WG Fuzion.

Now each week as I wash the car, I like to finish off with AW. So I guess that I am using the product sort of like a quick detailer. If I continue do do this after each wash every week, can this be bad?

Some people have suggested using AW every 2nd or 3rd wash, with a QD after every wash.

Opinions, suggestions????

I'm really making an effort here, but if I need to look up some "detail" dictionary I'm gonna lose interest REAL quick and my car SUFFERS!

^^^^^Get used to it, its an online forums, wheather its computers, cars, anything abreviations are all over forums, just ask someone.

AW stands for Aqua Wax which isn't too hard to figure out since its in the title. WG stands for Wolfgang, a brand of high qualtiy waxes. Not sure what DG stands for but I think its a maker of polishers/pads for rotaries so that probably doesn't convern a newb. No idea what LSP stands for though. QD is quick Detailer.
 
Sorry about that.... being a detailers forum, I thought that was pretty much the norm.
 
I use it every other wash, not to exceed twice a month

Over use can darken some colors & mute metallic flake. You said your car is black so no need to worry about the color getting darker...If you don't have any flake in your paint you have nothing to worry about

I think that if you're using one specific spray wax as your maintenance product, it's not really like adding separate individual coats. It's more like you are refreshing and adding to that one existing coat.

Does Aqua Wax work on glass?
 
Ones a month or so during the warmer months and maybe once every couple of months during winter.

Do you like the look? If so, continue what your doing. It will not hurt your paint. :buffing:

As far as using Duragloss Aqua Wax regularly, I do almost all rinseless washes and I use it after the first drying pass of each wash. Been doing that for a year or two and haven't noticed any bad effects from it.
I do use a paint cleaner type of product about every 4 to 6 months so any buildup is probably removed at that time.
 
using AW every other wash is enough (i use FK425 or the alike in between)...

Everyone here should change for you? Friend you need to do some reading to catch up to the discussions. A link was provided by another member to help you get up to speed.
