How should I apply Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent? Can/should I use my PC 7424? If so with what color pad?

Or should I just apply it by hand? I do have a few red LCC hand aplicators.

Same for the DG105 I am going to apply it over the hased bonding agent as the instructions sugest but with what The PC7424 or will it be just as easy by hand?

I did get the lambswool pad and the microfiber bonnets to go over it for buffing this stuff off with the PC7424. BTW

TIA, Zach

What kind of pads do you have? I use crimmson (red) lc hydrotech pads.

you can mix dg601(bonding agent) with 105 at a 4:1 ratio and apply at the same time.

I put the 601 on by hand with a MF applicator, and then apply 105 with a LC Crimson HT pad on my G110v2.

What some like to do is put a small mixture of 601 and 105 in a bottle, which essentially eliminates a step. Don't remember the exact ratios.

Is 601 considered a "paint cleaner" or really more practical for use after paint prep?

My understanding is that 601 is nothing more than a curing agent--allows you to add a second coat of 105 or whatever in 2 hours rather than 12.

DG now promotes mixing 601 with any of their durable polishes at a 1 part (601) to 4 parts (501,101,111,105) ratio then applying to the surface.

While applying by hand is fine I find I can get a much thinner, even coat of 105 using my GG DA on speed 2.5 - 3 with a red pad. Makes for very easy removal.

Like others said, I would mix the 105 and 601 together at a 4:1 ratio (105:601). I did this when I recently applied 111/601 and it worked out great.

Excuse I ignorance, but how did you measure it out?

get a small, empty, and clear bottle, and eyeball 4 parts 105 to 1 part 601

I was lucky enough to find a clear plastic bottle that has measurements on it. Made mixing it easy. I got mine from a dollar store in the area.
