How should I tackle Ferarri '83 single-stage paint?

Hello guys,

I'm detailing a single-staged white paint tomorrow.. just curious if you have any extra care I should be aware..

I only did 1 single-staged paint before and it was a MR2. I don't remember I had to do any extra care beside my pad was junk after lol..

Single stage is easy. Just remove the "dead" paint or rehydrate it by glaze. Then you can bring out the luster in the "live" paint by normal polishing methods.

What kind of Ferrari is it? I'm a big fan of the 512i Berlinetta Boxer from that time 81-84

Just as Jon says, Meg's show car glaze is a nice glaze for single stage :)
 
Gingerly!! Do you own a paint gauge? That said if it is single stage paint you should be OK. I used to polish a 1958 or so red 250GT California convertible on a regular basis for my neighbor (the owner) when I was a teen and the paint held up really well.

Just a quick question on here. FOr #7, how would you suggest applying? PC with a black pad? By hand? Any tips would be appreciated as I am going to be doing some single stage paint in the future and want to be prepared.
 
Just detailed a classic white porsche. Black pad and pc on number 4 and 5
