Like the title says, I am about 6'1 -6'2 and wish I was 6'8-7 foot tall to paint correct bigger cars without stepping on a ladder. What about you guys lol.

6'4" for cars okay, for SUV or van step stool. For both a rolling stool for side panels, saves the back.

try being 5'5"......I feel like I need a bucket truck sometimes

:pc7424:Wouldn't being closer to the ground make it easier to work on the places that probably take the most time anyway?

Lol. I'm 5'9". and I feel like I'm 3'9" when trying to detail my Ram truck.

I'm just a hair over 6'. When working on my car or a small SUV it's really not a problem. When I do a truck, or a big SUV, a ladder is required

I am 5'11 and detailing 2006 Mustang GT is a pain in the rear!!!! Especially when doing the doors with my 7424XP, wish I had a roller adjustable chair. I am at 200 lbs. and determine to get into a weight loss diet in order to loose some stomach fat! It gets on the way at times!

Same height as you just over 6' 1". Most cars are no problem but SUV's and the like require a small step ladder. The trick is not doing an overkill on the ladder. Has to be stable of course but also easy to maneuver becomes second nature using it.

5'9 for me and never use a latter.for the roof open door and stand on sill to polish, then stand on rear wheel to finish the back part of the roof.

So how good is this Indian with a polisher? And can he make my curry recipes any better??

5' 3".

I need a ladder for semi truck type vehicles.

6' 0". Don't complain if you are a little "short" on height. Think of all the little cars that all the 6"4" and taller guys and gals cannot fit into. Think Miata.

You can always find a way to mechanically reach a roof, try shrinking yourself to fit into a Miata:)

My ideal height, probably right where I'm at. No one can reach the middle of the roof of an RV without help.

I'm between 6'1 and 6'6, depending on what convenience store I'm walking out of.

Six foot. But with my bad back I use a four post lift to bring the wheel, fenderwells, doors and panels up to mid chest height. The hood and trunk lid can be done on the ground (usually). And for the SUVs and trucks I have a platform I can climb up on.

lmao!!! I use to have a RX8 Mazda and have to admit that I would feel my hair scratch the roof top when I was driving, I was worried on hitting a pot hole hard enough to hit the roof and knocking myself out.......glad I got rid of it.

I'm 5'6". I have a rolly stool that also doubles as a step stool. I only use the step when doing the roof, and the stool for doing the sides, wheels and tires. I wouldn't detail without it.

5'10" SUV's are manageable, but big trucks..... :| I guess I am lucky since out of all of Canada Quebec has the smallest population of SUV's and trucks. something around 50%, where in Vancouver, it is more like 75-80% :P People here like their small fuel cars, and mid-size sedans. :)
