How to clean your tire brush

I bought a new Carrand one with white bristles today from Napa while I was there so I’ll see if I notice and difference.

This one is super stiff.

Your tire brushes look pretty clean. Props.
I think my problem is I’m just too lazy to take a minute to clean my tire & wheel brushes after using them. Most I do is give them a bucket with soapy water to dip in while I’m using them. By the 4th tire that soapy water has no suds and has turned black.

LA’s Totally Awesome. I don’t use it on any parts of the vehicle [because I’ve got plenty of detailing chemicals] but as far as pad cleaner this stuff is unbeatable! Straight undiluted, just spray dirty even weeks old caked pads and let dwell for a few minutes, lay on top of a grit guard and spray with your hose nozzle on jet and get perfectly clean pads without scrubbing. It’s the bomb.

Yup. Agree. I go through a lot of this stuff for detailing or just cleaning stuff around the house. I lol when someone says their $50/gallon pad cleaner has some special fairy dust in it that is better for your pads or works better... And yes, I've gone through multiple gallons of $50 / gallon pad cleaner - so I know.

And, the TS tire brush is legit. I have several of them. I use them for detailing or to scrub anything around the house. Def best brush out there for scrubbing anything appropriate.

I am glad that I found this thread. My grubby tire brush was leaving a lot of brown on the tires. I sprayed the bristles with Zap Industrial Degreaser and agitated the brush on the driveway (thanks Mr. Eldorado). Most of the junk came out. I sprayed the brush a little more and ran my fingers through the bristles with a gloved hand. Good as new.
