How To Duragloss (PBA 601)

Having recieved my package and with all the Info I've absorbed on this site I thought I was ready to start detailing My vehicle, But I realized I have 1 more question I wanted to ask all of yous here. I was planning in using a cheap Random orbital polisher(4000RPM) with foam bonnet I had to apply the #652 Pre cleaner. Now I was wondering Is 4000 Rpm too high to be using with the pre cleaner?? Is it desirable to use a slower speed or higher speed?? Thank You!!

I didn't know they made ROB that can run 4000RPMs. If so, that is way to fast.

Maybe I described my products wrong. Im looking at the box and It does not say Random. Its a Cheapy Walmart 6 inch palm Orbital Waxer/Polisher. I thought it said Random. it does say 4000 Rpm. I was thinking of getting another Cheapy Polisher, but one with a grasping handle for more comfort. Soo I wanted to know what speeds were recommended. Thanks!!!

YOU SURE IT'S A ORBITOR??? and not a rotary..... orbitor would say OPM

, Rotary RPM.....

Big words advertised on the front say Orbital Waxer/polisher, But I found some small print on this already old worn box that reads. "The Random orbital action provides Maximum swirl free results. So I guess it is a random Orbital Polisher. I wonder why it wouldnt be advertised more the the front.

Tech Specs.
Power AC
Volts 120v 60hz
Speed..4000 rpm
rated..0.05A
Pad size..6

Would the speed still be a concern if it is a random orbital Polisher. I've read they are more Idiot proof that Other polishers. Thanks!!

Ok what they did is tell you what the motor is turning at to create the orbital motion..not the actual orbits per minute...and with a .05 amp draw the rpm will drop when you put little pressure on while on the paint..trust me....that machine will not do corrections...it is good for wax and sealant applications ...

Cullen...I use a PC with 101 with a finish pad....I have used a green polish pad with good results ..but the white is best...I use speed 3 or 4....I use 5.5 inch pads or 5.25 inch pads...I have seen where some used 5 speed but to me it may flash the product to fast ...3-4 is perfect....

105 by hand...tried a pc but did not like it...less product used by hand,,,
