How to easily keep interior dust free?

Most of my microfiber cloths don't even pick up the dust, they just move it around.

Meqs Quik interior detailer is OTC and priced well.

Shadow, try dampening your MF with a little Meg's QID or similar cockpit detailer.

I will look into this Ultima product though to see if it makes a difference in cleaning frequency.

You can also price the Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant, they were having a sale at the Wolfgang site not sure if it's still going. I don't know if it will make a difference in frequency, but UIGP and WCTS leave a dry surface that's easy to clean.

I just spent $40 on Blackfire Wet Diamond AFPP last week and now you guys are trying to convince me to spend money on UIGP and interior quick detailers. Hmmm... I do have some empty spaces on my shelf to fill...

I just placed an order for some cleaner and UIGP. I'll also vacuum my carpet as soon as it warms up a bit and remember to dampen my microfiber.

Thanks everyone for the tips. Feel free to keep them coming. As soon as that orders come in, I'll get to work on giving my interior a makeover.

I have tried everything out there and discovered the best way that costs practically nothing!

Clean it with whatever product you like then use this when it begins to get dusty. It will take months for it to need cleaning again! Trust me....I live in the dustbowl of the world...Phoenix, AZ!

A Swiffer duster works really well to dust the interior.

I had a neighborhood girl (woman) keep asking me to pay her to help me detail cars. After about the 5th time she asked, I had her help me one day. She shows up with her swiffer duster and I kind of chuckled under my breath.

I turned her loose on all the rentals that had just come back in that day and she did a fantastic job with her little swiffer.

I tried it a number of times now since that day and have to say I like them.

I don't work for Swifter so don't be concerned. Just sharing my experience with another great detailing product!

Easiest thing is to just keep a clean microfiber in the car within arm's reach. When I'm a stoplight, sometimes I just grab it and wipe down everything within reach. Takes 30 or 60 seconds. Then, when I'm washing, I use Meg's Leather conditioner on the seats and Meg's Interior Detailer on everything else. Car is several years old and interior looks great. And I'm taking kids camping, soccer, etc

Update: I followed the suggestions here. I dusted everything, wiped everything down, let it dry, applied UIGP, and then let it cure overnight.

My interior looks brand new, maybe slightly better than brand new. Also, everything feels great. Thanks for the help guys.
