How to get dried wax out of cracks?

This is by far the easiest and IMO the safest.

It can be cut and trimmed to fit the tightest cracks and crevices and one swipe safely removes all the old product.

I bought a megs detailing brush made just for this in an auto store. It's brown and has three different kinds of stiff bristles on it. It's VERY effective. No matter where the wax has been stuck one of the bristles has gotten it out easily. Especially those little stubby ones.

The Meguiar's Triple Duty Detailing Brushes were actually really nice quality plus three brushes in one.

I remember when Meguiar's launched their brushes and accessories line, I held a special Saturday preview class just for forum members to come to Meguiar's, check them out and wash and detail their car too...

To the OP: The way you get dried wax out of the cracks is...

Anyway you can...

Get creative and use whatever will help you to get it out and in the future, slow down and/or use painter's tape to protect against wax residue.

I use a cheap, plastic comb covered with a small MF. This works well for most crevices I have found. For really, small/tight spaces I use a toothpick covered with a small MF. Though after reading Jfelbab's post, I'll be trying the eraser method!

There you go... that's what I mean by getting creative and finding anyway you can...

Jim's been posting that tip ever since I've seen him make a post and that's a long time...
