How to get MF towels really clean

Be careful how you use them, store them, and wash them.

Keep paint towels separate from qd, interior, utility towels.

Once they get the stuff in then picking every tiny bit by hand is the only real solution. Prevention is worth an ounce of cure though.

Ok what happen was I was blowing out my garage and I store them in a plastic bin and all the junk got on them! :( best way is to pick by hand any tips? Does a MF washer help or better then regular washing soap

Tweezers, and microfiber detergent makes the material slick to keep bits from breaking off.

Pick out by hand is the only way to get the stuff that's hanging on. Short of that, one of those backwards tape "lint rollers" can take out stuff sitting on top.

Before you wash them, (as in AS YOU USE THEM). Separate them into different 'grades' depending on whether or not you think they'll be suitable for paint use again.

Store them in closed containers to keep debris from blowing over/on/into them. If they are wet, first hang them to dry of course, THEN store them in the containers.

Then when you pull them from the containers to wash them, PICK them again. Once they've washed, and before you dry them, PICK them yet again. It's amazing how many pieces of tiny leaves and debris keeps finding it's way into microfiber!

Get a horse hair brush, and gently swipe the towel to remove the particles, and whatever don't come out you can pick out with your fingers. this method also can help soften your MF whenever
they get like a little stiff from air drying

Thanks guy for your help!!! I am going to try this and maybe by some MF cleaner
