It's a cleanser you can find in the cleaning aisle of your local stores. You can use it on all kinds of metals and it doesn't scratch. I use it for detailing wheels that have cemented brake dust on them and it works, but you just have to put some elbow grease behind it.:)

Hmm wow so many choices! :D Maybe I'll try that grease lightning stuff sometime, or soft scrub if I have some laying around the house.

Just be careful with the Soft Scrub, I've used that in my kitchen and gotten scratches with it. Bon Ami and Bar Keeper's Friend don't scratch.

hey killer, a few weeks ago you told me that PB spray and rinse would get rid of my black brake dust specs that were stuck to my wheel. Well, it removed all remaning "stains" but the specs are still there. I even did the process twice and the sprayed again and scrubbed with a bug sponge, but they are still there! Does AG have any stronger wheel cleaner or method to use? Clay doesnt work, already tried that.

PB's product is citric acid and very strong but safe when used properly. I would hesitate to offer anything harsher for fear of damage. I have seen PB first hand clean 10 year old BMW wheels (turbine) without ever needing any agitation. It sounds almost like rust spots on the wheels, and impossible to remove.

Just send them out for reconditioning, there are a ton of wheel service companies out there, they are local to just about everywhere, im sure a body shop or your insurance company can help you find one, they are their biggest clients

I have to be honest though, I have been finding alot of great deals on tire and wheel combos on eBay, newer stuff too, im getting a set of Chrome Cadillac 17" DTS wheels with tires for my Eldo, $1049

There are also exchange wheel programs on eBay that are more affordable, but I didn’t think the caddy combo I found was too bad, they are new takeoffs, considering Cadillac wants $800 a wheel.

Crooks

THanks for the info, but I don't have any money for reconditioning or for new rims lol. My car isn't worth new rims anyways.

Best Interior Cleaner?

Can someone tell me what is the best interior cleaner to use on carpet and cloth seats that are really nasty?
