how to polish ?? Plastic ??

I used the HD Polish + on the plastic pillars of the Ford Explorer and I was happy with the results. However I used a power drill with a wool pad and I now have swirls instead of scratches. I will go over it again with my Porter Cable but the scratches are gone. One pillar had an abrasion that I thought would never come out but it is now gone.

Those pillars are an SOB.

I now work for a Ford dealer, and the "detail" guys (which are under the gun for time) will lightly polish them to get them 90% IME.

I drove to Jersey this morning to swap a truck for a new Explorer. Their guys totally trashed those pillars.

No one may notice, but I sure did. Lol

Here are the results after I came to my senses and used my DA polisher. I really like the HD Polish+. It was smooth and no dust.
