Hello,

Going to be installing these 2 rubber parts on my car which sit on top of my suspension (taking out my metal camber kit) Before putting them in I wanted to put something on them to give it a little extra protection since I will likely never touch them again for the life of the car.

Would a tire shine product help at all? I have one from 3d products and from geyon or will that just make it shine? Any other suggestions

Thanks View attachment 65293View attachment 65294

According to Sweet Project Cars, 303 Protectant will extend the life of rubber some 300% or so.

I’ll suggest either Ru-Glyd;
or Dielectric Silicone Grease.

{You can find them at most brick & mortar
auto parts stores; and, quite often at Ace
Hardware.}

Most rubber protection products need to be reapplied for continued protection. The dielectric silicon grease that was suggested will probably be the longest lasting suggestion. You could apply something like CarPro Dlux coating but unless you are going to protect other plastic or rubber parts it would not be cost effective
