Hello fellow forumers :-) hope we all having a good day.
In the dealrship i work for, we have this bug remover chemical, it kind a soften the bugs, but on dark colored cars ypu can still see bug marks left after we rinsed it with a pressure washer spray and i wonder how could i totally get rid of it from the paint. Thank you fellow forumers :-)

Maybe a light polish or paint cleaner will take care of it.

Either way, you need to do something other than wash/bug remover it sounds like. Start with the least aggressive method first.

After bug/tar remover, I sometimes clay it. If stains remain then go on to a paint cleanser like DG's SQC or DP's prep-polish. That should do it.

Are you spraying this chemical then just rinsing it off with a pressure washer? If That is all you are doing you also need to get some type of bug sponge or wash media for bugs. Or like one said clay it. I have yet to use a product that will get all the bugs without some sort of Manuel scrubbing.

Maybe use a bug sponge with the chemical. I've had great success with the sponge

Thank u for the reply guys, appreciate it....
We also have bug sponge dave, but most of the time i has been a long time those bugs we’re there...
How to do the scrub free way Sharpreflection? Thanks

Are you not going to try or do you not have clay, a paint cleaner or light polish? Looks like you just skipped what jmsc and I posted to help you out.

Of course i’ll try those advice dcjredline :-) .... We only have clay for now but not the paint cleaner/light polish...
Im just gathering many different ways, the fastest possible way/s because we don’t have that much time to spent in every car that we wash ’coz we’re kind of more on the car cleaner side not more on the pro detailer side, but i wanna learn pro detailing techniques on my own, thank you...

Bug Sponge, but make sure to set it in warm water first, then clay if needed. I work in the Parts dept of a Mercedes/Volvo store, I used to work at a BMW center...Bug Melt is ok, but not very good at fully removing the bogs and has been known to damage any waxes on said vehicle.

use a moistened fabric softener sheet..takes off bugs and doesn't hurt the paint. Learned this trick from BIL who co-owned , at one time, ambulance company and they did this on all the ambulances. Try it out..I promise it works and I use this on all my vehicles and it doesn't damage the paint on our cars!
