How to remove Iron (Well Water) Stains from Paint, Trim, & Rims

Yeah, was hard to get what I wanted to show...

If you look in the shadow area, you can see the IRON / RUST Stains in the paint.

Do to parking limitations we have to park the van on the side of the road... Yeah I Know, it sucks. But there is irrigation system and it oversprays and hits the van. may try to adjust the irrigation system to limit spray or something.

Was thinking either Iron X Gel or SONAX EXTREME wheel Cleaner Plus. Which would be better to tackle both the RIMS (Aluminum Alloy) and the Paint/ Trim ??

Ok got my IronX in today !!

decided I would go out and give it a try. Here is what I got on a test spot:

What a Change... GO IRONX !!

Glad it worked so well for you.

It is an innovative product.

Now go adjust those sprinklers.

Yeah that is on the agenda...

Irritation System Adjustments :p

Good turnaround!

If you can't adjust the sprinklers, maybe get yourself a short section of PVC pipe or corrugated tubing, and cut a section of it and create a 'block' that you can drive into the ground around the sprinkler, to prevent it from spraying towards your driveway.

I had some of the worst water spots I've ever seen come out of an irrigation system. Parked my car overnight at a hotel I was staying it, and their sprinklers got my car. My black car had big bright white spots all over it, kinda looked like the worst case of polish sling you've ever seen. It was awful! Luckily I actually had waterless wash and clean MF towels in my car and a quick spray-and-wipe down actually got rid of the water spots.

Well have adjusted the sprinklers...
will keep an EYE on them to make sure they are not spraying any of my vehicles
