How to remove Orange peel problem

Are you thinking about adding clear so you can safely wet sand? If so it won't work, as you need to get to the damage area thus removing the clear you just put on. You are back to square one.

Not so sure this will hurt.

If the panel is small then putting more clear on would build it up and give a larger safety margin.

Now you would have to prep properly but not really a bad idea (again depending on size of panel and comfort level painting).+

Wont he have to cut through all the clear he would be adding in order to get to the orange peel that needs to be removed?

No the orange peel is on the surface clear, so the more clear you apply the more paint is in the "valleys" which is the lowest point of the orange peel.

When sanding you lower the highs to level to the lows.

Unless you level the clear, you will have the same peaks and valleys by shooting over the original peel.

That is what I said.

You still have to correct the orange peel by sanding but now you have more to work with.

I'm talking about leveling the original clear before reshooting.
