How to remove Pitting in aluminum rims?

In the nooks and crannies of my 08 C Class Aluminum rims I notice really dirty black areas that I tried to clean with numerous removers and power washer. Is there another product to help clean these nooks and crannies? I used the rim brushes and I think it needs something stronger. Any suggestions greatly appreciated I will post a photo of it later.
 
If it's actually pitted as in indentations in the surface you won't be able to remove that. If it's just stubborn brake dust try ironX paste
 
My process would be to use sonax full effect wheel cleaner or something similar(like previously said) then try acid on the most stubborn spots if that don't help you will need to get the wheels finished
 
I used that now these are a week after a wash but this is what I mean
