i have a vehicle that has a partial respray on 1 area. paint is around 2 year old. factory paint is soft honda paint. any tips when doing the blended area??

I thought you just work it as usual, but you may want to do 2 different test spots, one on the factory paint, and one on the repainted area, just to make sure you get the proper combo for each area.

same as what MDetail said. But i'd like to add that you start with the softest combo possible.

It's very to get holograms on the Honda paint, and its rather tricky to correct these. Better not instill them in the 1st place.

Dont use anything agressive on the blend area or you may end up with a very noticable edge. Its better even to this small area by hand .

This is if we are talking about a blended clearcoat . If the base coat and has blended and the entire panel has been clearcoated this does not apply.
