How to restore the plastic around my truck?

Thanks guys here's the kicker. My cowl is black and the bumper plastic that's on the top, I guess the 'tread', is tan. Its a king ranch...

Neither of the products I agreed with "blacken" since there is no pigment in the product. It just revitalize (I guess would be the best word) the plastic

Thanks!

Will the Solution work on the tan plastics?

Thanks!

Will the Solution work on the tan plastics?

In my experience, it works on all hard plastic. I've used DLUX and Solution on black and grey (light and dark) and it leaves a very nice depth of color and shine, and restores the faded chalky look.

The Meguiars is reported to work on all color plastics. I have only tried it on the Skybox so far, but according to the documentation.

Been thinking about pulling the trigger on forever black for my bed rails and bumper. Only works on black though.

I stand behind Cquartz DLUX and TAC System Quartz Magic as they work sensationally time after time, but I'm very keen to try Chris West's Solution Finish

Penetrol.... I use it on the black trim on my MINI.
Lasts for months. I mean, like 4+ months. Does not run in the rain.

It's cheap... About $11 for a quart :dblthumb2:

I agree with Penetrol! Best bang for $$$. I just started using this product this month after reading detail kitty's post on her mini cooper! Works for every color of plastic. It is also a very easy application and water resistant! So far I have no negative feedback on this cross application! :dblthumb2::iagree:

Penetrol - Like as in the paint additive?

Yes as in the paint additive. I use Flood Penetrol its an Oil Base Paint additive used to help eliminate brush and roller marks that was recommended on here by Detail Kitty!

Yup, the paint additive :dblthumb2:

Longest lasting trim product I have used to date! And we are talking, 5-6 months!

This picture was taking in May- last coat of Penetrol I had put on was n November.
