Hi everyone
what is the safest and effective way to remove sticker residue, cause i work in a car dealership and we’re using break parts cleaner ’cause that’s the available chemical for us to use. Thanks very much fellow forumers
I use many things, but the cheapest, safest and easiest is WD40. Other good ones on my shelf are GooGone, 3M Adhesive Remover and Naptha (lighter fluid). All fairly docile to most surfaces.
Another vote for Goo Gone. Love that stuff when removing residue, whether it's adhesive from stickers or the double sided 3M tape used for badges, it always works.
Are you sure Goof Off is a good idea? I had been told it wasn't a good idea on paint since it was similar to paint thinner. That was one reason I use Goo Gone which is citrus based.
