(How am I to know: That you actually know...if it has a BC/CC paint system; that is:
With a black base-coat paint-film having a clearcoat paint-film applied over it...or not?)

-Posted all of the tools and resources that you have...

Since graduation I have, to the most part, kept up my physical strength through various exercise regimens...
(rowing is my favorite---"Go Elis"!!.) I was also a proud member of the debate team.

Point being:
[And not to condescend; or otherwise say or imply that you don't, (or possibly do), possess the skill sets to do likewise...]

I personally believe I have the skill sets to wage a protracted debate.
However:
I choose to no longer engage in that course of action, in regards to this thread.

Now neither the poster who wrote it nor you can claim to be in my head and know whether I am mentally cutting and pasting anything or expressing my own thoughts. Or can you?

So, you have a belief (just like people have a belief in bearded guy in skies) that what I wrote is pasted from somewhere else. If you have anything more than belief then I request the evidence: what sentence I wrote resembles the one written by some pro out there?
And how does one mentally cut and paste from others?
You mean I have no understanding of what I am talking about?
And where do you get that from?

I admit I am not an expert in brand new paint/clear coat correction (if I was an expert I would be an idiot expert , because I am asking questions that by default would be known to an expert).
I also admit to have made grammatical errors (such as putting words in wrong order when referring to a clear coat on a black paint of my car).
But what part of what I wrote gives an impression that I have no idea what I have or what I want to achieve?

Would you please clarify that for me?

Every other post from me comes with something to the effect of "I am not an expert" and "I need an expert advise".
Is it your point to reiterate the obvious and tell me what I already said about myself, repeatedly? :)
If so, then it looks like you have been wasting your time all along. No need to tell me what I know and already wrote on the wall.
Main reason I created this thread is that I am NOT an expert and as such need an expert advise. How more obvious it could be? :)

As to "You have not posted....blah blah..." Tools and resources I have to accomplish the task are separate from the question about clear coat on the paint. Since I have redundantly clarified the point about the black paint and clear coat on it, I will leave it without further comments and cut through chase by addressing your second concern.

That particular question you keep asking (about tools and resources I have) is well answered in OP where I state that I have (aside from my bare hands) my Makita rotary (a tool #1) and an orbital buffer (tool # 2).
As to resources (meaning cash in my pocket to buy products) , I stated that am ready to spend a reasonable amount to achieve the optimal results (not too little and not too much, to buy fairly good products that will correct/polish and seal my clear coat). I even threw some dollar amount figures to take the major guesswork out of the play.

Now , what was not clear?

The choice to participate or not participate in any discussion is entirely yours, but if you are making claims without backing them up then it only follows that they are baseless. :)

Unless I get some better suggestions I am likely to follow these steps (bucket wash with dish detergent, apply M205 with DA and follow with the coat of DG105).

The reason I want to do a decent correction before sealing is that sealant (by definition) protects with durability what is underneath it. To seal imperfection , while protecting the paint from further damage, would be somewhat counterproductive because it would also seal the imperfect looks (even if for just a few months, until next polish or mud/snow/salt etc.).

I have a pretty good chance of doing a good paint correction, with right products and some clear instructions on methods that I could use.

if you need a 25% off coupon for HF, pm your address and i'll send it out. also.. I understand you want to correct the paint as much as possible, but you will most likely have to re-polish anyway after winter's over, thus saying not to go to overboard with it for now. don't forget to clay after you wash and before you start polishing...

I found a link to 25% coupon (through 11/30) and their store not far from where I live.
I think I will drive there and pick up the DA, after checking to make sure they have it in stock.

Once I complete the project will post the pictures here (Before and After).

Though pictures are deceiving (almost any half-decent conditioned car will look great in the picture, given right angles and shades with average quality camera), still, I will try to make the best of it by picturing it under direct sunlight.

I guess I will order the M205 and DG105 from autogeek.

On separate thread someone suggests using M21 and M26, I may or may not use DG105 if I can't get the perfect gloss without swirl marks after M205.
If I get only 'Ok" results with DA and M205 I may go for M21 to seal it (it is good enough for me: last time I used it it was easy to apply and gave pretty good finish).
And I can get M21 from local pep-boys. We will see.
Either way , will post pictures here and let you know.

I agree. I felt the same way every since I read this guys first thread. People will ask him to clarify and use pictures so they can see what's happening and he just refuses to do so. He also claims to have over "two decades of detailing experience" while he asks some of the most idiotic questions that one can learn within a few minutes on this forum. He then goes on and attacks many well respected members of this forum. @carenthusiast- try reading many of the old threads, maybe they can help you with you detailing issues and teach you how to behave on a forum where people are trying to help you.
