How well can UC correct?

I used UC by hand.

Once.

On a 2002 Black Suburban hood.

It micro marred BAD.

I only did a test spot. Have not used it since.

Was afraid to.

Things have changed since AG though. I know how to fix it and all now. So not scared of it anymore. May use it this weekend.

Yeah that's key, some people don't feel like doing the second step or don't understand the need for it but for best results using a good polish is crucial.

I saw this car two days later and the paint was flawless ,wish I had taken pics because it was in the sun but we were at work.
Most important thing is technique , tool and pads, UC can and will do it for you but like any compound you must take your time, it can't be rushed.

I'm not the only one that gets good resorts , like most of you we all read the positive reviews on it.
I'm not saying it will work for every car that's why I have other compounds on hand.

I agree UC is a great product, and for myself who works by hand (my only option) it is truly a life saver lol. I just wanted to point out with my experience with my soft paint the first time I used it years ago i was floored by how UC finished with an orange pad, it looked lsp ready (although I did mikes man vs machine method), and followed up with swirlx polish.

The second time I used it, I only compounded with an orange pad since it looked amazing the first time I used it, but I saw the next day under full sun that it did need to be refined by what a light polish could easily take care of (i followed up with an AIO/poli seal with a white pad). UC is def. a great product, and I only get to use it by hand, machine owners will be more than happy with it.

Please post pics for us, I'd sure like to see the results. :dblthumb2:
