Raining out so instead of driving, I went ahead and detailed my car-again. It relaxes me, and the wife likes the fact that even when I am PO at something, a few hours in the garage is the best therapy money can buy. :xyxthumbs:

Washed, clayed, washed, sealed w/ Wolfgang, and finished with 3 coats of Pinnacle Signature II with Porter Cable. :buffing:

Sorry, no outdoor pics due to the weather. These will have to make due for now. Opinions welcome.

Are some of the pics HDR? Looks killer.

Its funny how much therapy can be provided by spending some time in the garage. Speaking of the garage, I like the shelving system you have setup. nice!
 
I'm pretty sure it's HDR pictures.

Yes, pics 1 & 3 are HDR. I don't use it much, but once in a while I like the effect it provides.

Where do you live? It looks like a real crappy day, well not as crappy as here since the ground isn't covered in snow there but still crappy.
 
which pad did you use to apply the pinnacle with the PC? Looks great! bet that thing moves

finally a amg brother. got an e 63 iridium silver with about 5 coats of raceglaze black label on it currently. do you have time to get out and run the beast? i live in the foothills of the cascade mountains in oregon and lover terrorising the squirrels and racoons on drives at speed.

Ok not sure what I spent more time lookin at the great looking Benz or the nice cabinets in the garage. Both look great
 
Thank you for the positive comments. 6 days of straight rain here in So California so I am using the time relaxing. Camera used was a 5DMII and lens was a L 24-105mm. Software for some of the shots were Canon DPP, Photomatix, and NeatImage.

Silver is just one of the colors that is very difficult to impress. With that, I still had my neighbors come over and comment on the depth and shine, even while I was doing something else in the garage.
 
i just got out of shoulder surgery and that first HDR pic made me want to throw a whole can of sig series right on my car haha. I was drawn to your AMG calipers. Any special tips you have for shinning those bad boys up?

As for the car, its an absolute masterpiece~!

Thank you, low dust brake pads, Akebonos, and if I remember, around 8 coats of clear. LOL.

Love Oregon, I was taken back as how courteous people drove there compared to So California.
