My name is George. Been lurking around here for the past month or so. I have basically zero detailing experience but have always admired the show car shine on a car. My wife and I just purchased a new Charger Daytona. It's the muscle car I wanted in high school but couldn't afford....and quite frankly couldn't have handled! I'm 59 now and we are done with raising kids and paying for schooling. Time to enjoy life. Came to the Autogeek web site to search for a good wax and have been getting a great education. So many different products. How does a guy decide what to buy? I'll be learning as I go and have plenty of question along the way.

I check YouTube for reviews. I read reviews on Autogeek and Autopia.

Welcome George, where you located in Central Pa? I am located in Lebanon, Pa. I do love that color on the Chargers, very nice looking car.

Welcome George! Yes that's awesome that you found the autogeek Forum - what I would do is take the competition ready detailing class! it's only 3 days and you get your hands on all the equipment, all the wax, all the polish, all the compounds & all of the goodies! you meet a lot of grest people, have a good time and then you get to decide for yourself what exact product that you want to use ! so check it out!

I agree. Attend the January class and enjoy sunny Florida during the winter.
