Detailing has become my new addiction.
My daughter starts Pharmacy school next week and I wanted to dress up her 99 Accord that she has owned for 6 years and washed once.
I washed it twice and then waxed it, and now every dent and scratch shows up like a pimple on the end of your nose. haha The interior, well, you could grow Okra on the floor, due to the amount of dirt.
We dropped her off at her dorm today, and her Accord stood out like a sore thumb among the new cars these kids were driving, so we left her my wife's Tribute and brought hers home to clean it up a little more this week.
I have a Dewalt 849X, and a GG6. I was in the carpet and upholstery cleaning business for 13 years and kept my upholstery cleaning machine when I sold that business, so the interior will clean up very well.
I'm gonna have to go local for my pads because we go back up this Friday for a introductory ceremony and will give her the car back. All I want to do is remove some of the scratches, polish, wax and clean the interior.
have Megs 82 and 7 I plan on using if time allows.
Anyhow, I have been lurking for a week and watching Mike's Youtube video's that I find very interesting, and informative. He is a great host! Wish his classes were closer.
