If anyone is familiar with Edwards AFB, that is where I am. Well not actually on the base, but the little village right by the west gate, Rosamond. Not the most friendly environment to keeping your vehicle shiny and clean, but... So, what is in my "collection"? I have 2 full on build projects in works, 1940 Ford Coupe, and a 1963 Thunderbird. Early on in the project, so no shiny paint right now. There are 2 off-roaders, 1973 Land Cruiser, and 1996 Land Cruiser. Shiny paint, not a priority on them. Shiny vehicles, 1993 GMC Typhoon, and 2011 Ram 2500. The Ram is the generic Dodge bright red, and just gets washed and an annual wax. The Typhoon however, that is the one I keep shiny. It isn't the usual Black or White, but is a little rarer Metallic Forest Green with Metallic Grey cladding (ground effects). Safe to say I have automotive ADD. Or is it just an addiction?
