How's my water beading?

Washing the wife's car today, it's had nothing but Black Label Diamond Surface Coating on it and then maintained with Black Diamond Coating Booster.

  1. Cleaned wheels with Iron X and Wheel Woolies Boars Hair Wheel Brush
  2. Washed car with Foam Gun and Microfiber Chenille Wash Mitt
  3. Dried car with Guzzler Waffle Weave Microfiber Drying Towel and Blaster Sidekick.

I always like the way water beading up on a freshly coated surface looks...

Drying is fast an easy...

Time to go do something to the inside now and put the top down, it's sunny and work here in Stuart, Florida!

:cruisin:

The water beading looks great and the tint just adds even more elegance

Did you coat the wheels as well? If so will the coating survive the iron x treatment?

Looks like my beading on my Jeep. I'm jealous though. It must be nice to be able to go to the shelf and pick any product you want at any time. You have the detailing life. I just put a coat of 845 on mine last night.

Have not coated the wheels. Going to either get the wheels powdercoated or replace them with chrome AMG wheels.

I don't think any coating will hold up to repeated applications of Iron X or most wheel cleaners. The front wheels on this car get a heavy dose of brake dust with normal use. I try to keep the Iron X off the tires because I have TUF Shine Tire Clearcoat on them.

Just finished doing an interior detail using Black Label interior products. I really like these products and especially the Vinyl & Leather Coating.

Tops down... I'm out of here....

Simply Marvelous!!! Beautiful Masterpiece! The Guru of Detailing does it again!!

Loooken gooood Mikey! :D

Let CarBoy have a whack at those wheels and he'll coat 'um for ya'. ;)
The boy has mastered a torque wrench!

He's still afraid to buff paint (on customers cars) even though he's 20! (Although he's done a 3-step paint correction on his 4Runner.) Go figure..... :dunno:

So he's decided he's our undercarriage and wheel specialist. Check out the wheels on the Camry show-n-shine we did last weekend. Pinnacle Black Label coating on those puppies. :)

Saw the date 03-01 and 'confused' thread started at january's 3rd... In Brazil date format would be: 01 / 03 lol

Amazing beading, BL coating looks to still hold strong, it's a pleasure to follow up your results. Thanks for sharing.

I also liked the window tint, and looking forward for the new wheels thread!

Kind Regards.

Said it before and I'll say it again, "Love that silver!" The only thing is I wish we had that weather too...preparing for yet another snow event here...:nomore:

Great work. Stopped by yesterday afternoon to pick up my flyby30/ceriglass coating and solution finish kits. Used them today. Your red truck looked great too!

Nice! :xyxthumbs:

When did she get the Mercedes? Did you trade in her Accord?

When did she get the Mercedes? Did you trade in her Accord?

Bought the MB back in October, the Accord had 80,000 miles on it and while it looked brand new it was time for a sporty 2-seater convertible. I'm a real BBC guy but with the big V6 in this Mercedes it really gets it on....

Here's the write-up for the makeover we did after purchasing this SLK350, it has the Ceramiclear finish and was in almost like brand new condition in every aspect including a low to no swirl finish.
