Aloha Fellow detail enthusiasts. I'm Darren. I live on O'ahu, Hawaii. I wanted to introduce myself along with my thanks to the ones who paved the way, making this awesome venue, available now for we who follow. Its great to be here, mahalo.
Im in the process of restoring an 1967 Vw bug. The new paint job ( Black with red pearl) is waterbased, and the two coats of clear have been curing now for about six weeks. Im thinking of going with wet sand, then perfectit 3000ex compound, followed with the 3000 ultrafine polish, and sealing it with Wolfgangs deep gloss 3.0. (possibly do a carnuba to tweakit)
Id like to ask anyone who is familiar with, and has personal knowledge/experienece with this process, to share their wisdom with some feedback if its a solid choice, or would they recommend another route for either good or bad reasons. Any help is greatly appreciated in advance, and again, its great to be here

First off :welcome: Darren!

Next I really can't speak to these polishes you speak of. I'm guessing these are things you already have on hand? I am assuming you have some type of polisher. If so which one?

If they aren't on hand I would take the dive and go with something like Menzerna FG400 and SF4000 to bring your paint up to our high standards. But please expand on what you already have and what your process will be.

P.S. If possible add some empty lines into the post so it will be easier to read if possible.
