After seeing Mike's post about the benefits of using the thick microfiber pads with the Flex 3401 it got me thinking. Right now I use the Hybrid pads with my Flex 3401. I am wondering which pads are going to be better between the Hybrid and Microfiber from LC? It also looks like the Ultra Fiber Rotary style pads are a one pad for all compound and polishing which would be nice as well. Thoughts?

Microfiber pads will have an advantage for removing heavy swirls, scratches, water spots and oxidation; foam pads will provide a better finish.

Which one is better depends on the application.

I would have an assortment of both on hand. :dblthumb2:

If you found something you like use it often!

I like the hybrid pads with my Flex and I think i will keep it that way. They work great and have never had any issues with them.

I have not had a chance to try and MF pads with my Flex but I have some Buff n SHine ones that are nice and thick but I willl still stick with the hybrid pads.
