Once you mix up a bottle of Hydro2, does it have a shelf life? Thinking of picking up some and curious in case I mix up a batch but don't use it up all at once.

Thanks,
Neil

I've always had good results diluting products with distilled water. It hasn't seemed to affect help life at all.

I had a similar question with waterless washes, will the unused sit well in the spray bottle? Apologize if I high jack the thread from your specific questions. Just thought it fit.

I've let HydrO2 sit mixed for...I dunno, 9 months? A year? And it was fine.

As far as waterless washes, they will be fine in the spray bottle, I've never seen one that wasn't stable, it would kind of defeat the purpose of mixing it up in a spray bottle.

Interesting, I had a similar thought recently. I usually mix up one ounce of Hydro2 and 3 ounces of water and use that as a wheel sealant. It seems that lately when I use my bottle that was mixed "awhile ago" (I honestly have no idea how long ago) I don't get any water beading on the wheels. Maybe it's no good after awhile?

Are you using distilled water?

That is how I was planning on using it too. Might use distilled water as rsurfer mentioned.

They do say not to mix up more than you are going to use, but I haven't had a problem doing that. Not that I do it on purpose, I mix up a small bottle for wheels and sometimes I don't use it all.

So the question may be, how much is used on just wheels? If a 100 ml bottle does a whole car, is 5 ml enough for just wheels? Even mixed for a 20 ml solution total (5 ml hydro2, 15 ml water), that is a tiny amount that would probably just cover the bottom of a spray bottle...

Or maybe I just need to get a smaller spray bottle lol

I just bought some Hydro2 Lite and was wondering if there are supposed to be white strands floating around in it?

Same thing with my bottle of Hydro2 lite. I just got it in the mail today. There's like white fuzzy mold looking things floating around. Is that normal?

We are testing it these days, but in any case the performance and effect is the same, has no influence on the power of the product.
